HCIH is an acronym for ‘How Can I help’?
Prior to founding HCIH, I spent about a decade working as a claims adjuster for some of the largest insurance carriers (3 of the top 4). I spent time as an Auto Damage, Casualty, Commercial, Lability and Injury Adjuster.Â
Â
The primary role of an “Insurance Adjuster” as we’re trained is to “help” people. Generally speaking I rarely felt that I actually accomplished that task on a daily basis… and that was a problem for me.Â
Â
So HCIH is here to solve that problem. The problem Specifically is that people generally don’t understand why they pay for insurance which becomes exponentially clear after a loss – during the claims process. If you don’t know what you’re paying for how can you hope to use it properly…?Â
Â
HCIH is here to provide the missing component when it comes to interacting with insurance… That missing piece is probably the most valuable and it’s education. As a people we actually shop by value but when value is lacking we substitute it with price. Price is never first and rarely second (within reason).Â
For example: If you knew what selecting state minimum lability coverages actually meant, I highly doubt so many people would select those coverages as a norm…Â
Â
Our insurance needs also change with time but most of us are just renewing the same coverages we’ve had since our first policy inception without realizing the risks we’re taking in doing so.Â
Â
At HCIH we help our clients manage their risks properly. We don’t simply “sell insurance”. We’re here to provide that missing piece of value when it comes to interacting with insurance in order to ensure you’re properly protected when you need it.Â
